Every year, the population of Middle England gathers in the gardens of Blenheim Palace to queue, wave flags and taunt the French.

In a special Poshcast report I expose the truth behind this seemingly harmless event: the posh people of Britain are preparing to invade Europe. The Battle Proms were only a whisker away from becoming a nationalist rally, and by the end even I was caught up in a frenzied wave of French-burning fury.

Warning: this report is full of hideous racism, rousing music from the glory days of The Empire and Union Jack tablecloths.
